The SBI Kiosk banking will provide the following services:


  • No Frill SBI Accounts Opening
  • Deposit of Cash
  • Withdrawal of Cash
  • Money transfer to another SBI/BC account holder in other locations
  • Account to Account Transfer
  • Deposit to SBI Loan Accounts
  • STDR & RD Opening 
  • Current limit of Rs 10,000 per day per bank account holder.

  • A 'No Frill SBI Accounts' through KIOSK Banking Model
  • Home Loans/ Loan Against Property

  • Kisan Credit Card (KCC) (ATM)

  • Easy Money Transfer

  • STDR Account/Term Deposit/Recurring Deposit
  • loans against Term Deposit Receipt (TDR)/ National Saving Certificate (NSC)/Kisan Vikas Patra   (KVP)
  • Customer also benefits from Long banking hours: As long as the shop is open .


 What type of transactions the customer will carry on  ?


  • This is called a no-frills account where there is no minimum balance or charges levied.

  • Maximum balance can be Rs 50000. (Balances above this can be held, but then account is converted to a regular bank account and the terms of the bank and documentations will apply to these accounts).

  • Minimum Balance -Zero Balance.

  • Maximum limit of transactions is Rs 10,000/- per day

  • ATM Card is issued

  • Only Cash Transactions can be made & only in person by the account holder.

  • As define by word "NO FRILL", there is no requirement of form filling and sign. Electronic thumb impression is used on biometrics, to access/use the account.

  • Other Services :   Home Loans/ Loan Against Property (Feature yet to be updated)

Minimum requirements of Space & Hardware : 



  • Size of Outlet: Minimum 200 sq feet and must have a counter

  • There must be adequate room to attend to 5-6 customers at a time

  • This is essential to provide efficient and courteous service to the customer

  • System configuration: PC with a minimum configuration of 20 GB hard disk

  • internet connectivity

  • A web cam Or Scanner

  • A standard printer

    CSP stands for “Customer Service Point” which is also called a Bank Mitra. Bank mitra is an concept designed under PPP (Public Private Partnership) Where a Bank Mitra or CSP works as a representative or agent of Bank and appointed to provide Banking service to citizens.
